Deer tracks are the best way to get to know as to what kind of deer you are after. Deer tracks if you know how to read them is a big plus as then you can easily devise your strategy for whitetail deer hunting.

Deer tracks have wealth information about a lot of things including how much was the weight for the deer to when did the dear pass form the area and even whether it was a buck, doe or a fawn.Full Gallop

In general the big deer tracks will be of the mature bucks. The small sizes will be that of the fawn. The average size of the deer track will tell us that this was the doe that passed the area.

Again the direction will tell a lot of things. The general sense is that the direction if it pointed towards the bedding area will mean the deer passed this way in the morning. If the directions was towards the other area which is opposite of the bedding area then it will mean that deer passed that area in the afternoon or the dawn time. It is important to you so that based on the time for the day you are able to guess the position of the deer and also then you can easily recognize a pattern which will mean that you can easily use the tree stand effectively for a good monitoring mechanism.

The pattern of the tracks will also tell the sex of the white tail deer.

The male deer has big tracks as well as the back hooves will be generally be inside the front hooves. This is opposite to the doe’s track and it helps to know what sex of the deer you are hunting. Doe’s or buck’s each as different way of responding to the predator.
